No One is Safe from a New Jersey Bed Bug Outbreak

With every day that passes it seems as though another apartment building or business has reported an infestation. New Jersey hospitals and movie theaters have suffered bed bug outbreaks, as have motels and high end retail stores.

Bed bug infestations are increasing across the whole United States and up into Canada and, for one reason or another, New Jersey seems to be a hot bed (no pun intended) for these nasty little critters. You’ve got to be careful just about anywhere you go these days, because it seems as though even the simplest trips out of the house could have you bringing back a New Jersey bed bug infestation of your own.

In order to keep your home and family safe from a New Jersey bed bug outbreak, you’ve got to know what to look for. There isn’’t necessarily any large distinction between a bed bug bite and the bite of other pesky insects, so the look or feel of a bite itself may not be a good indication of an outbreak. You’ve got to look for evidence of bed bugs in and around your bedroom and through the rest of your home.

Beg bugs are excellent at hiding, so detecting them can be a bit of a challenge, but there are some telltale signs of an infestation. Start by thoroughly inspecting your mattress, including along the seams, for blood spots; black stains or specs (bed bug fecal matter); discarded shells and for the beg bugs themselves. If you find any physical evidence, even one single bed bug, it’s very likely that there are dozens, hundreds or even thousands more. This is more than enough reason to contact a New Jersey bed bug expert for verification and treatment.

The pesticides that are readily available on the shelves of the local home improvement center won’t be of any use in this situation. If you want to eradicate the bed bugs in your home you need to hire a New Jersey bed bug exterminator.
