How Many Babies Can a Squirrel Have?

It’s that time of year again, and we’re starting to get lots of calls here at Allison Pest Control about squirrels. Maybe you even have a squirrel problem all your own.

You’ll know you have a squirrel problem in your home if you hear them scurrying about. They really like to hang out in attics, but it’s not uncommon for them to find a spot down in the wall. Squirrels have their babies in the spring, and one of the questions we get from customers who have squirrel control issues is, “How many babies can squirrels have?”

A litter of squirrels usually consists of four babies. Of course, now that it’s winter, that means those “babies” are all grown up, and if they’ve found a home in your attic, you’re in for a lot of noise and potential destruction.

However, there is hope! We specialize in squirrel control, so those little pests don’t have to be bothering you for very long. We use completely humane methods, so there’s no need to worry about us missing a dead squirrel in your attic. We’ll trap the squirrels, not harm them. Then, they will be released in an area where they won’t be a problem for anyone.

Once we’re sure we’ve rid your house of squirrels (including any babies), we’ll patch up the holes where they probably came in. That way, you won’t have to worry about them becoming a problem in the future.
