In what can only be thought of as something out of a horror movie, a woman in China had a run-in with a spider that she will not soon forget. According to the Huffington Post on August 13, 2012, a woman went to the hospital complaining of an itchy ear. Upon examination, the doctors were shocked to find a large spider tightly nestled inside of her ear canal! From the photographs, the spider appears to look like a Jumping Spider. They are not venomous to humans, and quite entertaining to watch in action, but absolutely not something you would want living in your ear! According to reports, the spider was in the ear canal for five days before it was extracted. WOW!
Insects don’t typically like to live in the people’s ears, but it has happened before as is the case of a boy in Colorado who had a moth in his ear, which was also reported by the Huffington Post on August 29, 2011.
Hiring a pest control professional in Ocean Country, NJ will help keep insects away…and hopefully out of your ears!
