I also find it interesting that many libraries remain open for business despite the presence of bed bugs<\/a> lurking in the building.\u00a0 There have been many occasions that bed bugs have been found and a notice has been posted on the front door advising patrons that the bed bugs are present.\u00a0 In media interviews, most times, people are not detoured by the fact that the bugs are in the house!\u00a0 I remember one recent story where bed bugs were in a library and a school brought several classrooms of young children on a fieldtrip to the library for story time and activities.\u00a0 I would venture a guess that the children\u2019s parents did not know about the presence of bed bugs<\/a> prior to sending their children on the fieldtrip that day as the teacher being interviewed stated that they were informed upon arrival about the situation.<\/p>\n

New Jersey pest control<\/a> experts think that we must ask ourselves\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Are people not detoured because they do not understand that bed bugs are hitchhikers that will easily travel home with them?<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Do people not know that backpacks, purses, coats, hats, gloves, the clothes they are wearing or even their shoes are bed bug transportation vehicles?<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Do people not understand that it takes only one pregnant female bed bug to cause a full-blown infestation in their home?<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Do people realize that if bed bugs are in library furniture, they could also be in the books in the library as well?<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Do people not realize that bed bug infestations are difficult to eradicate once you have an infestation in your home or business?<\/p>\n
