Industry experts say to wear protective clothing if you plan to be outdoors when at heightened tick time periods\u2026during the spring, summer, and fall months.\u00a0 It is recommended that people protect their body by wearing light colored clothing, long pants, long sleeves, socks and closed toe shoes.\u00a0 This can be a difficult task with the hot summers of the east coast, so New Jersey pest control<\/a> experts recommend using an insect repellant that contains DEET, permethrin, or picaridin while enjoying outdoor activities to avoid tick encounters.<\/p>\n
