\"\"<\/a>New Jersey pest control<\/a> professionals can confirm that bed bug infestations<\/a> continue to climb on the east coast as well as all other areas of the United States.\u00a0 It seems that there are nightly news stories of the creepy crawlers infesting some sort of business establishment or someone being attacked by the bloodsuckers with a lawsuit pending.\u00a0 It\u2019s no wonder that with the recent scientific reports that bed bugs have become pesticide resistant and the lack of new insecticides available to treat the bugs being released by the Environmental Protection Agency, fear and hysteria has hit many people in the public.<\/p>\n

Should we all fear bed bugs?\u00a0 The answer is\u2026a healthy dose of fear is okay.\u00a0 Education is the key when it comes to avoiding these sneaky little vampires!<\/p>\n

The threat of encountering or contracting bed bugs can send even highly educated people into a tizzy these days.\u00a0 The SunNews.com reported on September 22, 2011 that a college student was sent home from Horrey-Georgetown Technical College because school officials \u201csuspected she had bed bugs.\u201d\u00a0 According to the article, it was NOT confirmed that the student actually has bed bugs, but she was sent home regardless.\u00a0 The student is ordered to stay away until she can prove that her home has undergone bed bug treatment and she must also submit documentation from a doctor that confirms that she is indeed bed bug free.<\/p>\n

It seems very odd that a college would send a student packing without the proper evidence of bed bugs.\u00a0 This is a community\/technical college which does not appear to have on-site housing facilities.\u00a0 In the media report, the school made a point of noting that the areas where the student visited were treated for bed bugs.<\/p>\n
