\"\"<\/a>New Jersey pest control experts<\/a> warn that the lovely springtime weather has awoken the stink bugs in New Jersey!\u00a0 During the winter months, the stink bugs would emerge here and there, seemingly out of nowhere.\u00a0 Usually their emergence coincided with a beautiful sunny day.\u00a0 You could find them basking the sun on your indoor window sills, walls, windows, and ceilings.\u00a0 These prehistoric looking stinky pests were slow-moving and easy to catch during the winter months.\u00a0 A quick run for a tissue and a flush down the toilet, and ta-da, they were history\u2026at least for that particular day.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to the spring of 2011.\u00a0 These New Jersey stink bugs<\/a> have come to life once again and are going crazy.\u00a0 When inside our homes, they zip around at incredible speeds.\u00a0 Catching them is no longer an easy task.\u00a0 Once they finally do land and you try to grab them, it\u2019s extremely likely that they will fight back with a vengeance by spewing their pungent scent.\u00a0 They are attracted to the warmth of lights and can often be found landing on them, much to their demise.\u00a0 You\u2019ll know when they do, because a baking stink bug will spray its disgusting odor, fouling the air for a good deal of time.<\/p>\n

New Jersey pest control experts<\/a> agree that NJ stink bug infestations<\/a> will likely be worse this year than last year.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To date, these stinky pests have now been found in 33 states and are as far west as Washington state and California.\u00a0 As they summer travel season arrives, the big fear is that stink bugs will hitch a ride throughout the entire United States in unsuspecting vehicles.\u00a0 The lifespan of a stink bug is about a year and a female can lay as many as 270 eggs during her lifetime.<\/p>\n
