Bed bugs<\/a> are mostly active at night, but will feed during the day, especially if the infestation is a bad one.\u00a0\u00a0 They are attracted to the CO2 that we exhale and the heat that our bodies emit.\u00a0 You will find bed bugs most active (ready to feed) between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.\u00a0 During the daytime, bed bugs are very elusive and prefer to spend their day hiding in any crack or crevice they can fit their tiny body into.\u00a0 You will typically find bed bugs<\/a> within 100 feet of where a person sleeps as bed bugs don\u2019t venture too far away from where their target sleeps.\u00a0 Bed bugs do not have nest, but they do like to congregate in habitual bed bug hiding places\u2026kind of like your neighborhood bed bug pub!<\/p>\n

Bed bugs<\/a> are considered a nuisance pest and not a public health concern because they are not known to transmit disease although they do carry pathogens.\u00a0 Ask anyone who is battling bed bugs and they will tell you that they are more than just a nuisance.\u00a0 Bed bugs<\/a> have been known to cause a loss of sleep and psychological issues to people who have suffered through an infestation.\u00a0 When bed bugs feed, they inject a numbing agent so that people cannot feel that they are being bitten.\u00a0 Bed bugs will then pierce the skin with their elongated beak to withdraw blood.<\/p>\n

Conventional bug bombs are not recommended with this creepy pest.\u00a0 Bug bombs are known to send bed bugs running from room to room, instead of killing the buggers off.\u00a0 Bed bugs are easily spread in a building.\u00a0 They can travel from room to room, floor to floor via people, electrical wire, wall voids, piping, etc.\u00a0 Bed bugs<\/a> do no not discriminate.\u00a0They can be found in the most expensive homes and in flea bag motels.\u00a0 If people are around, there\u2019s a chance that bed bugs can be found!<\/p>\n
