Termite Awareness Week Is Coming Up

Year Round Problem
Termite Awareness

While spring brings warmer weather and sunshine, it’s also the time when termites become very active. In order to warn the public about these damaging pests, the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA) is holding Termite Awareness Week from March 13 through 19.

During Termite Awareness Week, PPMA will work on making homeowners more aware of the dangers of termites and provide information on how to spot signs of an infestation. Other information that will be available includes how to prevent termites from entering homes. PPMA is also encouraging pest control professionals to do their part locally by posting termite information on social media sites and helping residents in the area become more aware of these pests.

While Termite Awareness Week plays an important role in reducing termite infestations, homeowners should be on the alert for signs of these pests all year round. NJ homeowners who have spotted termites in or around their home should get in touch with Rumson pest control professionals as soon as possible. Pest control experts can evaluate their property, deal with any infestations that are occurring and prevent them from happening again. This helps lower the risk of costly structural damage to homes due to these pests.

If you’re concerned about termites in your home, contact Allison Pest Control for help. Our Rumson pest control professionals can handle termite infestations or take steps to prevent them.
