Here Come The Stink Bugs!

They’ve been quiet, or so it seems, all summer long.  During the summer months, many homeowners do not have many complaints of the shield shaped pest that is about to descend on the area in full force report Monmouth County NJ Pest Control professionals.  New Jersey residents might have thought that environmental efforts have gotten control over these stinky pests as they have not been seen hanging around their doors and windows all summer long.  The bad news is…beware…the brown marmorated sting bug is on the way!

Many New Jersey residents are already reporting that stink bugs are making their way to their windows and doors.  They bask in the warmth of the sun and are already trying to make their way indoors, despite the warm outdoor temperatures.  As soon as the temperatures begin to drop, Monmouth County NJ Pest Control professionals anticipate that the stinky pests will once again wiggle their way under siding, into attics, under insulation and inside homes any chance they get.

In addition to the brown marmorated stink bug, the green stink bug has also experienced a population growth this year.  They too are voracious eaters of desirable human fruits and vegetables as well as grass.  Just like the brown marmorated stink bug, they emit a pungent stench if they are frightened or if they are squished.
